The Last Song

After devouring “The Last Song” in two days, I can’t wait to see the movie.  Nicholas Sparks truly knows how to tug at the heart strings and make you shed buckets of tears.   In true Sparks’ style, he draws you to the story and makes you a part of it.  He tackles love in a different light.  It’s not only romantic love that he brings to the table.  He presents the love we find in all aspects of our lives.

Nicholas Sparks’ wrote the screenplay for the movie “The Last Song” and later on made the book.  The story touches on matters of being a parent, son/daughter and friend.  It presents the realities of life and how each decisions we make affects and makes us who we are.

It’s the best novel I’ve read this summer.  I would very much recommend this as a must read this summer.  Each chapter carries you through the story of how Ronnie eventually grows out of being a rebellious teenager to a woman who has learned much over the summer.  Laugh, Cry and fall in love with Ronnie.
